150emglassx.jpg (49461 bytes)
Rich emerald green glass sautoir flapper necklace of very old, hand-cut glass bead measures 32 inches long plus a 4 inch drop below the large  bead. Another view Chain appears to have been silver plated brass with ornate long bars and alternating chain. View three. Great old patina and a beautiful color, circa 1920, from an estate of European treasures. View closer detail. Order "9C3-150emglass," $89.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
300deco.jpg (29925 bytes)
300decofull.jpg (17991 bytes)
Charming deco green glass flowers in the "fruit salad style" made popular by Cartier looks like vintage Trifari or TKF. Pendant measures over one inch wide and is extended from a 14 inch long dainty "paper clip" chain. Best for a slender neck! The only mark we can find is the number "26" stamped into the back and we suspect this is the style number of the piece rather than the date. Beautifully finished and looks to be rhodium plated. Note the two ornamental rhinestone stations that attach the chain to the pendant. There are no tiny rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. This is not noticeable without a loupe and if you prefer, we can insert tiny rhinestones but they would be a newer cut than this early 1930's piece warrants A must have for fruit salad or early Trifari collectors. Order "3A9-300deco," $85.00 as shown. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
148portrait.jpg (36204 bytes) Hand-painted portrait pin is set in gold filled enamel frame of navy blue and white. The lkady figure appears to be painted on metal and she has been coated or shellacked to protect the painting. This is probably original to the piece and the coating shows some age but nothing untoward. Another view. The enamel is deep and perfect. Measures just over an inch wide. Someone has  tested it for gold content and left a mark on the back or it may have had the clasp added later but if so, an old alteration.  Pin back is soldered on. View the back. Order "9C-148portrait," $88.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
149vr50.jpg (29863 bytes) This charming gold filled pink and green enamel service pin denotes 50 years of continuous, loyal service to The Daughters of Rebekah Lodge. View enamel detail closer. Measures 1 5/8 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. Perfect for a collector of Masonic, Oddfellows and Lodge pins,  or perhaps an interesting gift for  your girlfriend who is about to turn 50 years old! View the back. There is also an Iowa Lodge number on the reverse.  Order "9C-149VR50," $49.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
056bar18k.jpg (11132 bytes) Vintage 18K gold bar pin with real 9mm pearl. Bar pin measures 2 3/8 inches long. View from the top. Marked "18K" and a maker's mark of a "K" in a square on the other side, this pin has a European trombone clasp. View the clasp.  The genuine pearl is rich and creamy with a pale pastel luster and of very fine quality. View the side here. This collar pin came out of an estate of very rich items and is a quality piece weighing 6.2 total grams on our house scale, guaranteed to be as stated and even better than the photos. Order "9C-056bar18K," $215.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
125pastebar.jpg (26775 bytes) Solid sterling and paste bar pin measures 2.75 inches long and weighs 4.5 grams. Marked with two lions standing on the rear paws, heads and front paws high and "Sterling," possibly the old mark for Glasgow, Scotland. Pin is beautifully made with brilliant paste stones. View the back. Order  "9C -125pastebar," $89.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
112pearlswirl.jpg (15685 bytes)

112pearlswirldepth.jpg (21805 bytes)

Swirled bar pin has 16 nicely matched small genuine pearls alternating with gold beads and measures 2 3/16th inches long. View closer. We can see no evidence that this pin is gold filled but it is not marked so we have priced it as gold filled. View the back. Pin is from an estate of turn of the century jewelry and often, gold content was not marked in the early 1900's. View from the side. It is beautifully made and surely looks like carat gold. Order "9C-112pearlswirl," $95.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
600marc.jpg (22615 bytes)
600marcside2.jpg (26965 bytes)
Best ever, vintage carnelian and marcasite ring is marked "GERMANY - STERLING" and measures 1 and 7/8 inches long by one inch wide. View the side. Profile rises almost 3/4 inches above your finger. View the other side. Beautifully designed, the ornate sterling setting is not missing a single marcasite. The long oval carnelian stone is collet set and measures 1 and 1/8 inches long. Set in a very heavy and solid sterling setting, this ring is  is one that you will know you are wearing! View the detailed, vented underside and back. This ring is similar to the ones in Ginger Moro's book, "European Designer Jewelry" on page 119, attributed to T FARNER. View the shank.  This came from an exceptional estate of mostly European 1920-30's jewelry and these photos cannot do it justice! Too large to fit in a normal ring box! Order "10A9-600marc," $299.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
114prettywoman.jpg (27622 bytes)

114prettywomanx.jpg (31588 bytes)
This piece is sort of shabby chic but we just couldn't resist it! Large oval portrait pin has a photo of a beautiful lady and six rhinestone accents on the twisted border. The oval  had a pin stem at one time but it has long been removed. The photo has a cello covering that is beginning to flake a bit. Back of the oval is open. The portrait is suspended from a real watch pin with an engraveable cartouche on the front. There are two small spots of solder where beads or decorative items may have once been beside the cartouche - very hard to see and not noticeable. Overall, the pin hangs 2 5/8 inches long. It's large and old, circa 1910. View from the side. If you lean towards perfection, this photo pin is not for you but we just love it!  Order "9CLK- 114prettywoman," $40.00, as is. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
120turqfobchainx.jpg (36775 bytes)
120turqfobchain.jpg (28194 bytes)
Vintage watch or locket fob is marked "Jossen (?) 1/10th" meaning it is twice as heavily gold filled as the later 1/20 GF metal chains. 1/10th gold fill is often referred to as "gold shell." This very old fob chain is 49 inches long not including the swivel and it has a nice little slide with a Persian turquoise stone. Slide moves easily and we have not cleaned the chain.  See full view. Because of the small, tightly fitted curb links, the chain does upon occasion tangle but will straighten out by shaking it gently. Perfect to show off your collections of lockets. Order "9CLK-120turq," $99.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
667lamode.jpg (22955 bytes) Very pretty Lamode bracelet was a war-time gift to Betty from her beau, Mr. Bloomfield, or as she called him affectionately, "Bloomy." Sadly, Bloomy dumped Betty so she scratched his name off the back of the bracelet but continued to wear it because it was so fashionable and pretty. Betty (her initials were BCF) eventually married someone else but she kept Bloomy's gift bracelet hidden in her lingerie drawer for many decades. Her children, now senior citizens, still wonder, who was Bloomy? Best for a 6 to 7 inch wrist. Order "SW9-667LaMode " $88.00. Order at the bottom of this page, or click here.

About 85 years old, this locket is signed with the Bliss Brother's mark inside. Has both frames and covers and will hold two photos or mementoes that are each over and inch long. Nice bale will fit any chain or ribbon. Locket measures 1.5 inches long by one inch wide when closed, not including the bale. See size comparison. 095ori.jpg (25296 bytes) Peach blush necklace of stone or glass has very soft swirls of color so it may indeed be a natural stone. (Jade?) View full length. On one side there is a peony and the other side has Oriental writing. View pendant closer. Wish we knew more about this pretty necklace but we can tell you that it is quite old. The chain is 18 inches long and the pendant is just over 1 1/4 inches long by just under 1 inch wide. Note the pretty beads set along the chain. A unique and delightful vintage necklace. Order "9C-095ori," $75.00.To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
014blush.jpg (39653 bytes) Gorgeous strand of crystal beads is very old and strung on fine chain. Another close view. The color is a pale blush pink, like the inside of a shell, peachy pink. Just lovely! 17 inches long. View full length. I see one missing smaller bead a the end of the strand. We didn't notice it until we looked at the photo so it doesn't at all detract. Crystals are in great shape and we feel the clasp has been replaced. Circa 1930. Order "PK9-014blush," $62.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.  More like this in necklaces.
353vbar.jpg (19646 bytes) Sterling with gold vermeil bar pin dates from 1880 to the turn of the century. Lace filigree border with fanciful design is set with painted glass stones. (Before rhinestones came in colors, clever Victorian jewelry makers painted them to resemble rubies, emeralds, etc.) Most of the hand cut stones are dark but I wouldn't change a thing on this lovely old pin! Measures 1 13/16 inches long and stamped, "Sterling" on the reverse. Order "9C-353vbar," $45.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
360vebar.jpg (10840 bytes) English sterling, Victorian bar pin with gorgeous blue stone inserts has sterling marks that show it was made in Birmingham, England, in 1888. Fine detail on the front and a nicely styled old clasp. View the back here. There is a slight stress crack in the lower right corner (see picture) of the stone. More noticeable in my photo than in person. Measures about 2.5 inches long.  Lovely English sterling piece! Order 9C-360vebar," $45.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
508sterling.jpg (19974 bytes) Gorgeous and substantial sterling guilloche' pin is quite old and probably European with it's beautiful attention to detail. Measures 1 3/8 inches wide. Another view here. Has elongated pin stem and excellent "C" clasp which leads us to believe it is probably Scandinavian in origin. Marked 925 and either SK or K5. View the back. Probably dates to the 1920's. Order "ER9-508sterling," $65.00.  To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.  Many more vintage enamels located here.

103preban.jpg (33165 bytes) Ivory is no longer allowed to be harvested so these older pieces are increasing in value and desirability. Save the elephants! This pre-ban vintage ivory pin is thick and beautifully carved with the Asian influence of 80 years ago.  It is 3.5 inches long and about 6mm thick. View the back with embedded pin stem. In excellent condition with the possibility of one tiny curl tip slightly shorter than the others that was probably a mishap of the original carving long ago. Order "9C-103preban-ivory" $89.00.
