Charming deco green glass flowers in the "fruit salad style" made popular by Cartier looks like vintage Trifari or TKF. Pendant measures over one inch wide and is extended from a 14 inch long dainty "paper clip" chain. Best for a slender neck! The only mark we can find is the number "26" stamped into the back and we suspect this is the style number of the piece rather than the date. Beautifully finished and looks to be rhodium plated. Note the two ornamental rhinestone stations that attach the chain to the pendant. There are no tiny rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. This is not noticeable without a loupe and if you prefer, we can insert tiny rhinestones but they would be a newer cut than this early 1930's piece warrants A must have for fruit salad or early Trifari collectors. Order "3A9-300deco," $85.00 as shown. |

Peach blush necklace of stone or glass has very soft swirls of color so it may indeed be a natural stone. (Jade?) View full length. Sterling with gold vermeil bar pin dates from 1880 to the turn of the century. Lace filigree border with fanciful design is set with painted glass stones. (Before rhinestones came in colors, clever Victorian jewelry makers painted them to resemble rubies, emeralds, etc.) Most of the hand cut stones are dark but I wouldn't change a thing on this lovely old pin! Measures 1 13/16 inches long and stamped, "Sterling" on the reverse. Order "9C-353vbar," $45.00. |

An unusual combination of period jewelry (1800's) jet mourning necklace and a newer (circa 1915 - 1925) sterling locket by Marathon. Our best theory is the locket was added later to this long Whitby jet necklace with tablet shaped, matte jet beads. The locket is tied on with wrapped black thread. See locket closer. Another full view here. Another view of the front of the locket. There are a couple of minor dings to the locket, nothing major. View locket open with vintage photo. View the back. Hard to tell if the little beads are polished jet or glass. View close-ups of matte jet tablets and polished seed beads, view one, view two. Locket is 1 1/4 inches not counting bale. Necklace is 48 inches long. Locket could be removed by new owner. Email if you have questions. Order "LK9-#123," $195.00. |
