Classic memorial locket is gold filled and suspended from a silk mourning necklace with a little gold filled slide ornament. Locket has the fancy initials MMF on the front and the back has not been monogrammed. There are some baby teething dings on the back as usually found. They add to the vintage charm but any jeweler could pound them out if you are so inclined. Inside, the locket is stamped with a letter P for the maker and will hold two photos, each about an inch in diameter. Both frames and one celluloid cover are present. There is a nice sturdy gold filled swivel and slide on the silk necklace. The slide is made to look like it has a stone but actually having one  would have been garish on a mourning piece. The silk necklace is about 48 inches long and would have been worn doubled on the neck. See full view. Locket measures 1 1/4 inches wide. Easy on and off with swivel. Order "LK9-808memorial," $195.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.  Many More Lockets here.

122rednouvnk.jpg (33634 bytes) Pretty pendant with large, very red oval glass stone is set in a silver tone pendant that measures over 1.75 inches not including the ring or bale. Not sterling but yellow is cast from light bulb. See another view here. Suspended from an interesting 16 inch chain, we think it would be lovely on a long chain even though it was originally worn at the 16 inch length in the Thirties. View the back. Solid, heavy and lots of detail. Order "9A-122red," $46.00. To ORDER, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.

The chain itself is 59 inches long and the swivel and rings adds another 1 and 1/2 inch of length.  Someone who is very tall might be able to wear this vintage chain with your locket or watch in a single length but most of us would need to double it and you often see these pictured on turn of the century (1900) ladies with them worn fashionably doubled as this was the style. Another view here. Gold filled and an especially long piece, this beauty will become a favorite way to easily showcase your lockets, pendants and watches. Order "LK9- #160HHdble," $145.00.
