	Stunning European couture designer pin from the 1980's by Ermani Bulatti is gorgeous and unique. The pin is large, measuring about 2.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. View two. The huge faceted "black diamond" faux stone is 1 5/8 inches across and is over one half inch deep. View three. Ermani Bulatti pins were and still are sold in the finest shops in Rome, Milan, Paris, and throughout Europe. In the 1980's pins like this one sold for about $200 and they are very collectible today. View size comparison. The metal is a bronze color and the long-legged flyer looks like he has landed on a glittering lily pad for a brief respite. View the back and signature plate. A rare find! 	Coro designed and sold a whole series of these door knocker pins in the late 1940's and this one still retains all the original stones. Measuring 1 1/2 inches long, it has emerald, amethyst, sapphire and clear rhinestone accents. The knocker actually works! Light surface scratches consistent with age appear much worse in the photo than they do in person. Still, price reflects. A lovely vintage pin guaranteed to be a favorite! 	As featured in Brunialti's, "American Costume Jewelry," this Coro donkey was designed by Adolph Katz in 1945. Signed with the Pegasus Coro mark on a rectangular plate, this pin is in great condition with only a small bit of roughness to the finish as manufactured. Measures about 2 inches tall. Book Piece! 	Darling bulldog, possibly French bulldog pin is made of end of day swirled plastic, probably celluloid. He's hand cut and nicely dimensional and while we feel the red rhinestone eye is original, the clear stones in his color appear newer to us. we'll leave him as found in an old Florida estate. The original back with C clasp is intact and working and we will gently clean this piece if requested by the new owner. Measures about 2 .25 inches from tip of nose to hind foot. 	As referenced in the Brunialti book, "Tribute to America," on pages 150 and 151, this series of fruits and vegetables were produced and patented in Marcel Boucher in 1941. Perhaps the most desirable Boucher series, this raspberry fruit pin is rare and hard to find. Marked "Des. Pat' D," this pin leaves no doubt to it's origin. I believe the MB mark is to the top of the Patent mark but the "MB" is hard to see. There are two areas of worn enamel on the leaves. View leaves closer.
